Liked: Everything is excellent! Lovely facilities, great staff, wonderful breakfast, and perfect location. Honestly a great value also for this gem of a hotel in heart of Ottawa.

Poor customer service

Liked: There was a variety of meals and also a neat unit for breakfast.
Disliked: First they lied about debiting me only when I present in the facility. They pre-authorized twice the amount I am supposed to pay days before my booking date.Secondly, when I called the hotel, I was expecting them to reverse the over-authorized amount, instead I was asked to wait till I check-in before I can get their mistake corrected.On getting there, they printed a receipt and told us we will receive the balance of the excess back in the card I use in making payment, and I could remember hearing immediate credit (which is why he requested my CREDIT CARD). I was excited about that, but after I went to my booked room, I waited all night till the next day to meet the receptionist to ask about it once more as I have not seen it credited immediately as said. He responded and said it will take a few days to arrive, which was contrary to what I heard from the receptionist the previous night.In conclusion, that was a bad customer service, breach of agreement ( charges when we arrive).Excess charges (double charged) that can't be returned immediately Poor explanation by the previous receptionist I rate the customer service 2/10.
