Hotel Description
Boasting a private beach area By The Sea Guests is located in Dennis Port Massachusetts. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings including beaching boating fishing golfing dining and shopping. A mini fridge cable TV WIFI a private bathroom heat and air conditioning are included in every room. Most also have ceiling fans. Private bathrooms are equipped with towels. Select rooms have partial ocean or oceanfront rooms. By the Sea Guests features a gas firepit gas grill outdoor seating a lovely enclosed veranda overlooking the ocean and a private beach shared with other guests. A seasonal complimentary hot breakfast is served each morning in the veranda for bed and breakfast patrons only. Guests staying in the suites or vacation homes have the option of adding in breakfast for an extra charge. Breakfast is served to guests on the veranda during peak seasons: May through October. It is NOT available to guests in the winter from November through April. Please note: The front desk/reservations desk hours change seasonally based on staffing resources and demand. In the winter we're currently open Monday - Friday from 12-5 PM EST. We are closed on weekends and winter holidays but you can book at any time through Booking.com. During the winter we do not have a guest lobby or concierge services. Check-in and checkout are completely contactless. We will contact you a few days prior to arrival to review: We put a white envelope with your name on it in the check-in black mailbox located on the porch of the suites building (white with blue diamonds building next to the street). Your instructions to your room and keys are inside the envelope. We charge the card on file the day before arrival. To checkout just leave the keys locked inside the room. Emergency and contact numbers are provided upon arrival in case any issues or questions arise.

Very good

Liked: Beautiful place and nice beach.
Disliked: Oven didn't light on demand & no one was around for help at the moment. I just worked around it for the rest of vacation.

Perfect bachelorette party!

Liked: The location is AMAZING. This place was one of the best places I’ve stayed in. The rooms were so clean. We got two adjoining rooms for 6 people and everything worked out perfectly. Staff were so nice. The other guests were super kind. The breakfast was delicious. We liked EVERYTHING about this property and definitely will be coming back.

Liked: Wow, what a beautiful place! Absolutely fantastic private beach, very peaceful. The B&B guest rooms were comfortable. Other guests were respectful of noise & I slept really well here. The location is great - a short drive or nice walk to ice cream, coffee + seafood. I will definitely book again.
Disliked: The shower pressure was a bit unfortunate. Many of the umbrellas on the beach did not work properly. The AC in my room kicking on & off was very loud, so I had to sleep with AC off & the fan setting on, thankfully it wasn't too warm.

A lovely gem on the...

Liked: This property is very quaint and “old cape cod” feels. We stayed in the main building in room 310. We had a view of the water. The room was clean and ac very cold. The property is right on the ocean. Lovely beach that is raked daily. Breakfast is included and wonderful. The owners are friendly and available.
Disliked: Rooms are small BUT comfortable.
