Superb

Great hotel for a short...

Liked: The room had been refurbished in the last year and was more than adequate for a "compact" room. Lots of tea and coffee plus bottles of water. Bath and lots of hot water. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Car parking for 24 hrs is £5.

we had not slept all...

Liked: Room was very nice staff nice
Disliked: i think you got the mattress out of a skip and the pillows were awful. complained to staff in morning who said the pillows were brand new. I think you need a choice of pillow size . I have a bad neck and was awake all night because the pillow was too big and hard.

Liked: Accommodating front desk staff, who checked and confirmed that dinner could be obtained despite late arrival.Short stroll to town, station or park.

Liked: Excellent location for the Opera House.Good to see signs of refurbishment going on outside.
Disliked: Beds weren't comfortable.Why change the hotel name sign to blue, the red one was iconic!
