Liked: Very friendly staff . Excellent location. We had a continental breakfast in our room , that was fresh and meant we could eat breakfast at a time that suited us . We had an evening meal in the pub , this was delicious.

Great little place, very reasonable...

Liked: The guys at the Butcher Arms we're great! They very friendly and super helpful when I had some questions/requests before arrival. Location is perfect for Clearwell Castle events!
Disliked: Small amount of noise outside in evening, but can't be helped and finished before bedtime.

Cozy, comfortable stay

Liked: Really friendly staff, the continental breakfast and drinks provided were yummy and nice to eat at our leisure and the meal we had at the pub was DELICIOUS!!
Disliked: The only issue we had was the lack of full length mirror, our stay was due to a wedding at the castle and we would’ve liked a full length mirror when getting ready.

Liked: location was close to Clearwell Castle where we attended a wedding. Price was very reasonable.
Disliked: We weren't too keen on the breakfast.

Liked: Location was unbeatable, room was adequate, bed was creaky, with bedding and little on the tight side. Breakfast was just right. Pub and it's food could not be faulted at all, perfect.
Disliked: Bedding could be bigger, plus a little less creaky.

Liked: Excellent location. Close to Clearwell Castle for wedding celebration. Breakfast provided in the room continental style.Fridge and coffee making facilities also in the room.
