Great hotel, shame about the...

Liked: lovely facilities and everywhere was clean and welcoming.
Disliked: we stayed in a family room with the kids twin beds attached by a glass door with a window. The radiator in the kids room was on quite high and the thermostat on the rad wouldn't move so we couldn't turn it down. Also the live music downstairs was playing until midnight and seemed to be directly underneath the kids part of the bedroom... thus meaning we had a 6 year old who struggled to sleep with the heat and the noise..

Liked: Lovely hotel, definitely feels more than a 3 star. Recently refurbished very comfortable. Food is amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The pool hours are a bit awkward. It's used as part of the spa so children can only swim for an hour in the morning and 5_9 in the evening. A bit awkward but we made it work as best we could.

Liked: We were attending a function, which was really good. It was a private function. Food was great, could not fault.
Disliked: Greeted with a receptionist who had very bad body odour, yellow teeth & really gave off a really bad impression at the first instance.Room was basic. Bath had rust around taps & at edge. Spa - Residents only allowed in until 9.30 in morning, we weren’t told this. Went for breakfast then spa, to be told we couldn’t go in.
