Liked: Food provision was good throughout the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful on the whole. It was a good location for exploring Farnham. My room was a long walk from reception and on one occasion my door key didn't work but a cleaner very kindly came to the rescue meaning I didn't have to retrace my 300+ steps!
Disliked: I have never been so cold in a hotel room despite using the electric radiator. The long corridor was also freezing cold making the walk to the other areas unpleasant. The celebratory lunch on the Saturday was beautifully set out but even with so many people in the room it was cold.

Liked: Nice traditional hotel. Staff were very helpful. We received a courtyard room upgrade which was very welcome. It gave us a very spacious room.
Disliked: Nothing really. We ended up there for one night and were in and out quickly.

Liked: The location was perfect for me. Although near a road no noise issue. The curtains were amazing and black-out so never knew if it were night or day. TV was great, bed amazing. Definitely use you again

Liked: The building is beautiful and the location good. My function at the hotel went very well: Hannah did a good job with the organisation beforehand, staff on the day were very helpful and made it run smoothly, the room was beautiful and the food good.
Disliked: 1. My stay was spoilt for me by the poor heating in the hotel. My bedroom (106) eventually heated up but I dreaded having to walk down the freezing corridor to get to it. Worse still, two elderly (like me) and slightly frail friends who attended my event booked into room 237 (I think) and spent their entire stay of three nights feeling frozen. It was a cold snap but even so the hotel should be able to keep clients warm! 2. Another matter was the taps in 106 - very stiff to turn on and off. 3. My bedroom door (106) did not lock and someone else said the same - this could be a security risk.
