Excellent hotel for the price

Liked: Nicely decorated for Christmas. Clean and spacious rooms. Very relaxing stay. We usually stay at the Sleive Donard but since it’s been bought over the decor is over the top and no space in the rooms.

Liked: Breakfast was excellentBed was super comfortable, probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept inGreat location, not far to walk into Newcastle TownFriendly staff.Quiet and cosy.The room was very nice, good size TV and good size.
Disliked: Very dated decor, however funny enough at lunch someone was in showing staff carpet samples. While the room was nice there was a very slight musty smell, and the carpet could have done with a clean.
