Not very impressed at all.

Liked: Reception staff were very helpful and nice.
Disliked: The room - There was a lot of mould all around the window. I appreciate that its an old building but there was a lot of water on the window sills. The bath was marked and damaged. It didnt feel very clean. There was leaflets in the room that had old tea/coffee stains on, again making the room feel dirty.The headboard on the bed was wobbly and creaked loudly with little movement. I woke up to around 9 bites on my legs and ankles. Staff serving in the morning had dirty/stained t-shirt and wasn't very welcoming. Sat for ages until we was acknowledged. The breakfast was ok - poached egg was nice, the rest it was luke warm. One piece of bacon was nicely cooked, another was very undercooked. It doesn't look like there is much care or thought to presentation or anything. We was contacted prior to our stay to say there was a Wedding taking place but we wouldn't be impacted. We was put directly above the wedding reception room. We returned to our room that evening and there was loud music, could feel the bass of the music in the room past 12.30am.

Overnight stay.

Liked: The beds were comfy. The room was quiet and large enough for family. Breakfast was really nice and hot.Young girl on reception was lovely as where other staff.
Disliked: We stayed in one of the lodges, although a large room it had quiet dark and dated decor and smelt musty. The carpet and sofa had some stains, as did the sofa bed mattress. Update these, and the room would be much better. Bit more attention to detail on cleaning and updating the room as a priority.
