Liked: We had two meals which were fantastic and well in inkeeping with the hotel. However in a grand house like this zou can tell that the facilities do need an update.
Disliked: Some of the carpets need to be repaired and the installations in the bathroom updated

Fairy tale manor

Liked: I loved the architecture the building exterior and interior was beautiful some areas had been modernised but still keeping within the colours and aesthetic such a beautiful place and that stain glass window is a real muse for an artist like myself.
Disliked: I found that the fire doors slammed on the corridors and the sound traveled and vibrated the room I feel such a simple thing could be updated by maintenance

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is beautiful. It was all trimmed up for Christmas which was lovely.The room was comfortable and had a great selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Disliked: The room did smell a bit when we arrived but didn't spoil our trip.

Disliked: The rooms and general hallways are tired and in need of some tlc, the bar area is a bit grubby and the windows could do with a clean.
