Liked: The room was beautiful and large with everything we needed. The spa was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were all friendly and helpful from start to finish. Ian, in particular, was amazingly thoughtful and caring. The therapists were excellent, too. Would definitely go again.

Disliked: Being charged for breakfast while checking out. We're never told it wasn't included even after they took our room number and seated us. Wqsas expensive and we only had a quick snack due to thinking it was included.

Liked: The hotel is perfect for that country escape staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. Spar/Gym is perfect for what you need. 2nd time here, we will be back can’t fault it. Stayed in the Clifton Suite “Blown Away” 💥
Disliked: Woodland area needs an overhaul to a woodland walk this would make it WOW

Liked: We stayed at Burma Beaches Hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautifully refurbished rooms and a fantastic spa area. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade as well. The breakfast was of excellent quality with a great selection. The location, surrounded by a beautiful forest and nature, added to the charm. We will definitely stay again!

Liked: The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable and also the hotel it self being done up recently js very nice
Disliked: Didn’t like how I wasn’t told about times for breakfast or about how car park works. And was judged just before I even tried checking in.

Liked: Breakfast and breakfast room…..amazing!!!!! Decor inthe whole hotel was DIVINE!!!!
Disliked: Jacuzzi needed a step into it, as it was hard getting in and out of it. Jacuzzi a little dated, although recently refurbished. Should easily fit an open shower in the corner near jacuzzi and sauna, in order to be able to shower down before getting into pool from the sauna or steam room into the pool. Otherwise you can’t wash off sweat. If you know what I mean. In the corner near the jacuzzi is a perfect spot for a cool down shower!!!! Would then be PERFECT!!!!

Liked: The hotel itself is beautiful. We had booked the old Georgian room which far exceeded my expectations. Food at the restaurant was very tasty and well presented
Disliked: I’m honestly disappointed with the staff at this hotel—the worst I’ve ever encountered.We booked the Georgian Room in advance, but upon self-check-in, we were given a completely different, outdated room. When we went to reception, the rude and dismissive staff member kept insisting, “It’s a lovely room, sir.” After 20 minutes of arguing, he finally gave us the room we had already paid for, calling it a “free upgrade.” Absolutely ridiculous.The bar was another letdown. The bartender (tall, dark hair, glasses) was shockingly unprofessional. On Valentine’s night, guests ordering cocktails were told, “I’m too busy, order something else.” Later, he kept claiming they were out of ingredients—either poor planning or pure laziness.The final straw was checkout. My card had been pre-authorized, yet I was charged again. Trying to resolve this over the phone was a nightmare—seven calls, passed between clueless staff, none of whom seemed to understand basic English.This hotel could be great, but the staff completely ruin it. Sort it out.
