Disappointing

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: The room was sadly full of mould and smelt like damp. Carpets and wall paper peeling due to mould. Disappointing as it cost us £210 for one night.

Hope to stay again only...

Liked: Breakfast was first class, staff very attentive. The breakfast area was very comfortable and the outlook over the garden was great, watching the blue tits feeding. Everywhere was clean and sparkling.
Disliked: We had room 19, which is dated and the heating is not efficient, we could not sleep because we were very cold throughout the night. The shower which had been squeezed into the space was very cramped, my husband who is over 6ft struggled to shower in there and if you had the shower on full to start with wet the bathroom floor. For the price we paid for 1 night it was disappointing.

Definitely stay again

Liked: The experience was excellent as was the room
Disliked: Parking was an issue no lighting for bays 16 and 17, unfortunately dog poo on the floor and can’t see as no lights. Parking is also very tight.

Disliked: The house bedrooms were in need of refurbishing. The floorboards were very noisy

Liked: location is great - very short walk to lake Windermere, boats and shops/eateries etc albeit set back from main road so quiet . Staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Bedrooms are separate buildings which i didn't realise when I booked , not a problem really only a very short walk over to reception/breakfast .
