A hidden gem.

Liked: Top quality food. The staff were tremendous. Lovely room, which was very clean, as were all areas of the hotel.
Disliked: It was a little strange for there to not be a physical bar area. Wouldn't put me off going back, though.

Liked: lovely stay in a beautiful hotel, enjoyed a lovely evening meal and breakfast with very attentive staff, would definitely recommend a stay here.

An absolute gem

Liked: A lovely break away from the usual boring hotels. The place is bright,clean and homely. The staff were all exceptional and the location brilliant. A 4 min walk to the station for the Christmas lights steam trip and about the same to the seafront. The breakfast was the best ever according to my chef partner and I heartily agree. Lovely dinner too. Overall I’d give it six stars if I could.

Liked: The whole building was a delight, the log burner was welcoming. The Sunday lunch was excellent.
Disliked: The breakfast smells though welcoming were a little overpowering in the room. The internet connection to the TV in the room was a little problematic
