Disappointing

Overpriced for the filth

Liked: The setting is beautiful , stunning . The building beautiful
Disliked: Filthy! absolutely filthy room disgusting! . Old cobwebs everywhere. I’m not bothered much about cobwebs at home but when there are old ones dangling above my head blowing in the breeze it made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the place. Food was less than mediocre too

Perfect for a traditional New...

Liked: Lovely location and building(s). Perfectly situated to enjoy Burley and surrounding areas. Very dog friendly. Good size rooms, nice amenities in room and very comfortable bed. Plentiful breakfast with plenty of choice.
Disliked: The wifi was poor throughout the hotel which was a challenge because there is poor phone signal in the area too. Water in our room wasn’t hot in the morning.

Liked: - Lovely manor and surrounding estate- Fantastic room with all the necessary facilities and a good TV- The cleaning lady was very warm and friendly- Tasty breakfast with lots of options (including for vegetarians)
Disliked: - We were met with some hostility when we didn't book breakfast, although we weren't informed that we had to book - Lots of breakfast items and drinks at the bar were unavailable despite being included on the menu

Liked: Great location, lovely atmosphere, but not working hard enough to give to turn it into a great! Just as an example, was told at breakfast with only 6 tables occupied we are too busy to get your breakfast straight away! But when the breakfast did arrive it was lovely! I keep coming back, but boy does it frustrate me, because with the right attention this could be a hotel! Managment sort it ! X
