Burleigh Court Hotel and Leisure, Quorn

Convenient and comfortable.

Liked: Stylish hotel with very good staff and undeniable potential. Some issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom which was the only thing that was disappointing and not what is expected from any hotel.

Great location for uni. Good...

I’d stay here again if...

Liked: Convenient for where I needed to be.
Disliked: My room was smelly (28) when I entered it very late in the evening perhaps as it was too warm without ventilation. This room was close to some machinery that made low column noise at random, like a phone on vibration mode.I didn’t like the semi formal reception “desk” as it made it all seem rather processional, but other hotels also are making this mistake IMHO).My satnav had difficulty finding the hotel and initially took me to another Burleigh Hotel. It may be a function of my mapping though.

Okay to stayed a night

Liked: Free car parking
Disliked: I don’t usually complain about the cost of accommodation I paid for, but this time I have to say the cleanliness was quite disappointing. There were someone’s nail clippings in the bedroom, and toothpaste splatters on the bathroom mirror, which was unpleasant to see. Other than that, it was fine for a one night stay, except in summer, as there was no air conditioning.

Disappointingly noisy

Liked: The decor was nice.
Disliked: I asked for a quiet room and was put next to the bar! I didn't sleep much the first night and the second night asked to be moved. When I was moved, I woke up to find not enough towels for two people in the room and hence couldn't shower as there was no way of contacting reception. The second room had noisy pipes. Very disappointing.

Liked: breakfast excellent, room excellent
Disliked: bed was very hard-i woke up several times because of thatwas not able to book in before 3pm

Disappointed about the Spa facilities...

Liked: Evening meal was good, room was ok and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: We were hoping to make use of the pool, sauna and steam room but unfortunately as we had booked on a Saturday afternoon the facilities were busy with sports teams and individuals I’m guessing from the university.
