Liked: *The personnel was quite friendly and ready to help*We received a free upgrade to the historical attic rooms*The rooms had a lot of facilities (bath, tea maker...) with some nice extra's (bottles of water, tea bags, hygienic products)*The restaurant where the evening meal was served, was very beautiful and the food was good*The breakfast was exquisite*Free parking*Located in a beautiful castle
Disliked: *The bed pillows were a bit dusty*Some parts of the room were a bit older (e.g. bathroom, tv)

Disliked: Room locations not clear, if coming in through night door (No reception after 5pm) maybe a map to show NEW visitors where their room is located within the complex?

Excellent base for exploring the...

Liked: This is a lovely family-run hotel that really looks after you during your stay. It is an older hotel (some of it is within the old castle building) and is very comfortable with great views. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Good old style German hotel

Liked: Professional run hotel. Staff is outstanding and very helpful.
Disliked: The hotel restaurant and bar service is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Not very attractive for staying there during those days. Rooms on top floor are attic loft style and not fit for elderly people. There are very steep stairs in the room to reach the loft! On top ventilation is absolutely a disaster and a severe heat builds up in the loft.
