Great location hotel with friendly...

Liked: The location was really good, right in the centre of Burford. The breakfast was also nice, as well as very friendly staff
Disliked: It didn’t look like much care had been taken in the cleaning of the room- lots of obvious cobwebs in the corners of the room which had clearly been there a while. Bathroom also looked quite dirty and tired, especially the bath. The window was also broken in the room so it left in quite a draft.

Disliked: Bed bugs, terrible water pressure in the shower, noisy rooms, door had an unusually large gap underneath it.

Disappointing cottage not value for...

Liked: The girls in the bar were nice the location was perfect .
Disliked: We stayed in the cottage it was dirty a mouldy shower, broken bathroom floor tiles, no lights in stairwell at all. A door to the pub garden half glass with no Curtain. Holes in the towels. Bath plug missing a chain so you have to lever it out with a knife. Badly equipped kitchen. Just not worth £200 a night even where it is.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in earlier than planned which was very helpful as we had a wedding to go to. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.
Disliked: The shower in our room didn’t work - no hot water- there was a lot of black mold in the shower and bath plug. The room and bathroom was dusty / dirty in some places. The bed sheet had a rip at the bottom. The bed mattress was very firm and not particularly comfortable.
