I would say good but...

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Good dinner but room to dark and wrong light.
Disliked: Rooms bad smell of humidity or others. Old TV and poor channels portfolio options. Bathrooms non practice. Water temperature difficult to set or not intuitive.

Exceptional

Very peaceful, we were delighted.

Liked: Hearty breakfast with plenty of options,
Disliked: First night...Fine dining , too fine, too delicate. We dined out for our second night

Cosy and relaxing

Liked: The staff made this visit! Friendly, helpful and most of all thoughtful! The staff are a credit to this hotel! Oh and the food is exceptional.
Disliked: Not much really certainly not enough to write about

Very comfortable rooms, hotel atmosphere...

Liked: Our room was really nicely done and very comfortable. Really lovely touches like the Dyson hairdryer in the room and some fresh shortbread on arrival.
Disliked: The hotel was really quiet so it felt a bit empty. We didn’t realise there was no bar which felt strange and didn’t fancy sitting in the empty lounge so we just stuck to the room. The service style was very old school, so perhaps not to our taste.
