A dream stay in a...

Liked: Exactly what we were looking for in a manor stay. The grounds, the building were spectacular. Staff were friendly and helpful. And dinner was delicious

Very Enjoyable but the dining...

Liked: lovely charming but maybe a little tired
Disliked: squeaky floors , stains on the ceiling ( water damage ) Not good when paying £800 per night

Very poor value.

Liked: The breakfast was good and efficiently served.The lounges and gardens were attractive and well maintained.The staff were pleasant but no more.
Disliked: The bedroom was ill-equipped: no refrigerator to keep water cool and, the greatest of all sins, no full-length mirror (Premier Inn and Travelodge invariably provide that!). There were a couple of unnoticed and uncorrected maintenance faults which we had to point out. No way was this room worth £300 a night.
