Superb

Great location but management leaves...

Liked: The location is fantastic for someone visiting Brussels especially for leisure. The breakfast for very good and the hotel and rooms were very clean and newly refurbished.
Disliked: Upon arrival there was a letter in normal (small) fonts at the reception desk indicating that the water in the hotel would be cut off in all of the hotel between 22:00 - 05:00 that evening!!! I happened to notice it, though others did not, as there was no explicit warning from the staff. I asked for a bucket to store water and they told me none was available! Upon my insistence they gave us 4 X 500ml water bottles!!! I believe the way management handled the problem was horrible. A problem with the water can occur but you should inform the client, find immediate remedies and offer something for the nuisance. They did nothing before, during or after...Less important for me, the TV and telephone did not work but I did not bother to ask them to fix it, just told them upon departure.

Service not up to Marriott...

Liked: Location. Spacious rooms.
Disliked: Noisy street. Staff not very welcoming and uncooperative (I’m a Bonvoy Elite member, due to a change in my business schedule I had to leave one day earlier than expected. The hotel management did not agree to a refund, even though Booking said that the final decision was up to them. Marriott always accommodates loyal clients in other cities worldwide. Not this hotel, apparently. Disappointing)

Good Stay and Nice Hotel...

Liked: I had a really comfortable stay here. The hotel is right in the city center, making everything super convenient. The staff were incredibly kind, and the breakfast offered a decent variety. The room itself was clean and cozy.
Disliked: A couple of small issues: there’s ongoing construction behind the building (no noise, though), and on the sixth floor, the window is smaller than the photos suggest hopefully they update the pictures soon. Also, one day housekeeping only came at around 5 p.m., which was a bit inconvenient right after returning from a conference.

Liked: Staff was very very kind with us, the room very clean, the breakfast impressive and very good the position is excellent!
Disliked: More gluten free options for breakfast but everything was delicious.
