Enjoyable Comfortable 3 night stay!

Liked: It was quirky and funky! Nice old fashioned music playing in the lounge area! Staff very helpful and pleasant! Breakfast buffet was very good and comprehensive ! Quiet location as well x
Disliked: The lift was very old and dark and only fitted 4 people in at a time! Also had to go round the corner to their sister hotel for breakfast!

Liked: Really good location, lots of restaurants around, nice staff, great bed!

Just a glitch not of...

Liked: The reservation would have gotten all 10's except for some surprise (to me) construction during my stay. Staff couldn't have been nicer. I could tell the the ambiance would have been superior was it not disheveled. The location couldn't be more perfect. Center of everything but easy to walk out of touristy center and relax in more authentic surrounding. The tourist center is fun too.
Disliked: Just the unannounced construction. Unfortunate. I would stay there again with assurance that it was not under construction.

Liked: Location. Perfect location, close to tourist sights, restaurants and attractions.
Disliked: During our stay the hotel was doing a massive planned overhaul of their fire system. This caused a close down of the restaurant, as well as the hotel lobby, plus a bunch of noise. I have stayed here several times, and have generally been very satisfied; however, this stay was awful. I would have appreciated if the hotel would have notified us of this planned work, so we could have made alternate plans, perhaps at their sister hotel a couple of blocks away.
