A good place to stay.

Liked: Good location, quiet in the night. Lots of wildlife to look at from the woodpecker room.
Disliked: Very small shower cubicle.

pleasant but a little disappointing

Liked: a problem in the room was soon sorted in a very friendly manner and we were offered a different room because of a wet carpet as a result of cleaning. we didnt take the offer up but the offer was appreciated
Disliked: cleanliness in public spaces, the sitting room had cover on the settee but these were covered in dog hair as was the floor

Nice country hotel

Liked: Nice country house in its own grounds and is peaceful & private. Also has good parking, especially if you need to park a trailer as we did, while staying to goto the nearby race track 20mins away.Our room was in the annex and was a nice size and comfortable and quiet
Disliked: The hotel was fairly quiet, on a Friday (in spring), so the bar & restaurant we had pretty much to ourselves which would of been nicer if there were more people to give more atmosphere

Liked: Quiet, good food and an excellent room that was really comfortable.
Disliked: Shower could do with being updated, wasn’t the best.
