Liked: We ate in the Strawberry Tree restaurant which was exceptional. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We booked to stay again before we checked out. We slept with the window open listening to the river, it was bliss.

Liked: Loved the whole experience from the location, to fabulous comfy bedroom and food to die for. Staff could not have been more helpful too.

Liked: Loved the location. Loved the breakfast. Staff excellent.
Disliked: We were not staying in the main part of the hotel. The Italian restaurant wasn’t open. The jacuzzi in the Spa wasn’t in use. All of the above should have been emailed to me before hand.

Disappointing stay

Liked: We love the setting and the comfortable atmosphere in Brooklodge.
Disliked: We booked a stay in Brooklodge Hotel after we had a fabulous stay in the hotel just before Christmas. We were allocated a room in Brook Hall. The weather was atrocious on the night and luckily enough we brought a brolly (brand new). We went to the Italian restaurant for dinner and were asked to leave the brolly at the door. When we went to leave the restaurant our brolly was gone and we offered a personal fold up brolly which was unacceptable. Heard nothing from Brooklodge since. We were very disappointed with our stay.
