Hotel ok but felt it...
Liked: The restaurant. The staff in there were excellent and the food delicious.
Disliked: The staff at reception. Wanted me to pay £15 as we arrived at 14.35. We were told the room was ready but as check in was at 15.00 we had to pay £15. We did not do this. They then must have given it a thought and said we could have the room at no cost! Also room is not serviced if you stay for two nights. Had to ask for toilet tissue, tea. coffee etc. This is an expensive hotel and did not expect the above to happen. Felt it was over priced .

Wouldn’t go back
Liked: The room was nice.
Disliked: Charged £28 for parking for a two day stay. I ended up checking out a day early and they wouldn’t refund a days parking. I wasn’t impressed being charged £14 a day to park in the first place considering the price of the rooms, especially when it’s not exactly in a built up area. Also, there was a no refund policy which I understand for the room, but i paid for breakfast that which I obviously wasn’t going to be eating on the 2nd day and thought should be refunded. They also sent an email saying would I like to use the spa facilities for 3 hours for £40 which I thought was ridiculously overpriced. Overall and unpleasant experience because of the additional charges and refund policies.

Book it.
Liked: We love this hotel - can’t put my finger on what but it’s great.
Disliked: Parking SHOULD be included in your stay, really annoyed me that it didn’t. I dont care if a 3rd party owns the parking. If you are customer led then sort it out. Please review your pet policy. When are you going to figure out the well-heeled love their dogs and do not mind at all paying extra for the room clean. If Gleneagles loves Pets then all British hotels should follow suit. We have just travelled around France and EVERY hotel lets you bring your pet and allows them in restaurants.
