Liked: The front door as that allowed me to leave
Disliked: The hotel is an old hotel and whilst the receptionist was super friendly, that’s the only positive I can give! I arrived at 11.30 and was given a room that had a toilet with ‘pee’ still in the toilet bowl. I realised after flushing it that the cleaner did not clean the toilet as you have to flush the toilet twice which must be due to it being an old toilet. The room was like an ice box and was missing the control knob on the air conditioning. That meant that you could NOT switch on the heating! The hotel was fully aware of this as there was a leprechaun sized oil heater in the room. It was a portable unit powered by plugging into a standard socket. That tells you that they know the heating does not work. It was on for an hour and was still not warming the room so I was freezing. I had to be up at 6am to leave to catch a flight. The bed was uncomfortable and therefore one of the worst sleeps I have ever had. As I was leaving early the receptionist said that he would have a continental breakfast ready for me. He and the breakfast were know where to be been.

Lovely staff but need retraining...

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful, however......
Disliked: However , the servers need updating about gluten free food as the first lunch I had made the stay not very good. The gf sandwich was brilliant but I wasn't told that the chips were cooked in the same fryer as gluten..... Violent diarrhea and bleeding is still going on and it's going to take months for me to recover. I wish that people would get to know what it's like to have coeliac disease and then be given gluten. I've not long got out of intensive care where I wasn't expected to survive from, unrelated conditions but I'm now back to having chronic malabsorption and I'm seeing the Dr in the morning to see if I need another blood transfusion and N.G fed again.

Tired, Run down and in...

Liked: Staff were pleasant enough, however at check out, I was told that the team couldnt check every mattress for issues. as there were so many!
Disliked: Filthy room with cobwebs everywhere. Dated decor. A broken mattress.

Superb

Liked: I have stayed here many times and the staff are lovely and so helpful. The food is lovely. The hotel is well located, with ample parking, and the rooms are spacious. Overall, one of my favourite places to stay and I keep going back.

Liked: For what I paid on Booking.com I am very satisfied and would return if offered the same price for the same stay .

Liked: I’m was big and spacious
Disliked: The jacuzzi was cooler than we have experienced in other spars.The saunas were segregated to male and female by the fact they were in the male & female changing rooms. Not ideal when you go to spend a nice time with your partner. There were no staff in the spar, the bar was closed in the chill area and there was nowhere for you to sit in the spar
