Very old, soft, squeaky mattress on flat boarding providing no support or comfort. Stained sheets. Spartan room at London prices. Stayed at many chained hotels with more comfort and less cost.

A fair deal, and better...

Liked: The price/quality ratio was fair - ie it didn’t cost much, so no frills (expected or provided), but what you did get is good for the price (eg Breakfast included, quiet rooms, comfy bed).
Disliked: Just beginning to get a bit tired decoratively. Only one chair in a room for two and, weirdly, one bedside cabinet, and one lamp. Where is the other person supposed to put their coffee/book/ipad?
