Disliked: I would like to raise a serious complaint about our stay last night 22nd December 2024. We had two rooms 201 and 210. Both twin rooms in the names of Daire and Whittaker.Our rooms were clean but in dire need of repair. The tiles in the bathroom cracked, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Took three or four flushes just to flush tissue. Tv kept falling off the cabinet because it didn’t fit and many other small issues which added up to a very unsatisfactory stay. However, this could have been redeemed had our breakfast need edible. We booked three adult breakfasts at £12.50 each so a total price of £37.50. For this we had four slices of toast, one piece of bacon which we couldn’t actually eat with a knife and fork, one sausage. One egg and some mushrooms. One apple which was bad and two spoons of plain yogurt. The hot food was dry and over cooked and therefore inedible. We were in at 8am and so would have expected the items to be fresh. There was no fresh fruit only the apples which were bad. Everything else was tinned. No other bakery items other than white or brown sliced bread. I have to say £37.50 for six slices of bread and a very small inedible portion of hot food is appalling. I tried to raise this at the reception with the receptionist who just said sorry and looked away.I would like to discuss this further with a managerMy number is 07590405767Sarah Whittaker
