Liked: Front desk, good rooms, clean and breakfast.
Disliked: Brought two employees to Britannia for an exceptional stay that included dining at Brasseriet Monday 4th evening at 20:00 h. The service was a complete disaster, 4 grown men more concerned with talking to each other and staying behind the counter than tending to the guests. Only 7 tables with guests this evening. No service. No eye contact with any of the waiters. No poring of drink. No question of taste of food or any additional orders. No offering of meny card. Had to approach several times to get service through the meal. No order taken for dessert. Had to ask for the bill. Several times. A total disaster for the hotel. This was a long awaited "price" for exceptional work. Very disappointing and embarrassing to me whom invited from Oslo including plane tickets, rooms and full stay based on previous good experience.

Faultless 5 star hotel at...

Liked: The room was spacious and superbly clean, with a sizeable en-suite. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and the valet parking couldn’t have been easier. The breakfast selection had everything you would expect for a continental breakfast, and the bar was adequately stocked with a range of drinks.
Disliked: Nothing - the whole stay was exceptional.

Another absolutely amazing stay!

Liked: This was our second stay at the Britannia. It was as absolutely fabulous as the first time - if not better! This is a hotel that is worthy of its five stars. The attention to detail from room amenities, to the cleanliness (everywhere), to the lack of scuff marks/stains on carpets/furniture, to an amazing breakfast in the most beautiful room, and to the most incredibly friendly and helpful staff …the list could go on! The location is perfect - great for sightseeing. The choice of restaurants either within the hotel or nearby is great. We chose to return to Trondheim and the Britannia, specifically, to celebrate our anniversary - it did not disappoint! Thank you to all at the Britannia for making our stay so special!!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing - it was as perfect as a hotel can be!
