Hotel is 5 minute walk from Liverpool Central and Lime Street. It's in the heart of the city with loads going on and fantastic shopping centres. 2 bars and a restaurant on site and staff very welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Liked: Fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy, plus on site bars and restaurants. Lots going on at the hotel but very efficient.
Disliked: No bad points.

Liked: Its central to everywhere the room was clean but couldnt close 1 window and the heating didnt come on so it was cold.
Disliked: No heating came on otherwise it was a short stay and went out most of time .9

Fabulous hotel

Liked: I'm from Liverpool and left afew years ago I've just had a baby and came bk to vist my daughters and I love the hotel it's beautiful and good for money n great location will deffo stay again there and recomend to friends and family to stay there also
Disliked: Nothing well apart from the noise from the clubs outside baby struggled to settle

Grand old lady, love the...

Liked: This is a grand old lady of a hotel, oozing with history. Whilst it is true that she has seen better days, it is still a pleasure to stay here. The location is great. The sense of past grandeur is wonderful. I thought the general decor was looking better than it was a few years ago.
Disliked: Of course, the grand old lady shows her age in many places. Sadly, the reception area is one of those places. The mattress was a bit hard. Breakfast could have been more extensive, although it was certainly great value for money paid.

Liked: Hotel was fine staff was lovely
Disliked: Getting woken up in the night by drunken men trying my hotel door and shouting. My daughter was petrified she woke up thinking someone was breaking into the room extremely traumatic experience for her

Lovely place to stay

Liked: Excellent location. Dated but lovely original features and clean. We would happily stay again next time we visit Liverpool. It's not 5 star modern but we were happy.

Disliked: The bed where hard and the windows were hard to open and heating was in all the time and couldn't turn off or down and the bedroom the sink looked like it was going to fall of with how little it was attacked to the wall had drywall on window sill and molding toilet paper I didn't want to touch
