Encinitas vacation

Liked: We were there for four nights and enjoyed it very much. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was exceptional. The on site laundry was great. Breakfast could have been a little better, but we would definitely stay here again. We were close to the beach as well as restaurants.

Superb

Simple clean and affordable stay...

Liked: Walkable location, clean inside, friendly staff
Disliked: Very tight parking, trash overflow outside, paying a deposit even when the rooms were already paid in full. Very hard to access for elderly

Passable

Liked: Room was fine and clean.Location is great.Nice staff.Breakfast was fine with a nice spot to sit down, which is good since there is no table and chairs in the room.Bed was ok, not fabulous.
Disliked: The hallway carpet is terrible and sets the first impression tone for going to the room. The hallways need to be updated. We got 3 wake up calls that we did not ask way too early in the morning.

you get what you pay...

Liked: The bed is very comfortable, and it is walkable to nearby restaurants and only 5-minute walk from the beach. The windows are double pane (soundproof) with black out shades! I will say for a hotel of this size I was surprised by the in-room microwave and on-site laundry.Shower had consistent hot water with good water pressure.
Disliked: The breakfast was sorely disappointing. Watered-down coffee, what looked like day old toast/pastries and apples, absolutely zero protein, not even hard boiled eggs. I would hardly consider that a continental breakfast. (edit: I read the previous reviews from a while ago, it seems like they don't really care to make their breakfast selections better so BE AWARE of this.)When I first checked in I found hair on the pillowcases. Im not sure if it's the housekeeper's or the previous guest's but I was too exhausted to care. none the less, disgusting.Honestly, 9/10 if they just had at least a decent breakfast. I can overlook the other things.

Wonderful long weekend visiting family...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, adequate breakfasts,close to stairs that take you to the beach!!
Disliked: A little smelly in the bathroom of rm 207

Exceptional

Liked: Great stay. Very clean and walking distance to so many great spots including the beach. Will definitely be staying here again sometime!

great place too stay for...

Liked: great location off of Hwy 101. Easy walk to the beach
Disliked: breakfast was a little disappointing

Good stay

Liked: All in all this was good. Only point of criticism is the WiFi, it was not reaching our room 210 (which was the furthest from the lobby).
