Liked: Our room was lovely but it looked over what looked like a building site.The heat was not on in the room so it was freezing. Also it was advertised that there was a pool or the pictures indicated a pool but it was not at this hotel. In room 402 there was a tapping in the room for the whole night so not a great sleep. Breakfast and welcome fantastic

Lovely Hotel , great staff...

Liked: Everywhere was spotless and the staff very polite and helpful. The breakfast was really lovely and the complimentary afternoon tea was a great idea. The fact it does not accept dogs was one reason we chose this Hotel and will definitely be staying there again.
Disliked: Nothing annoyed us at all.

Liked: We were upgraded to a beautiful superior room.View over river but a little noisy.Afternoon tea on arrival and delicious breakfast.Very helpful staff.

The Bridge House Hotel surpassed...

Liked: Not only is the hotel in the best location in the heart of Grasmere, but the staff are outstanding. Special thanks to Rhian for the lovely welcome and Amber, who is an absolute credit to the hotel. She clearly loves her job and loves the Lakes and has the sweetest disposition. If I owned a hotel I would hire her as general manager!
Disliked: The spa that you can use, located in the sister hotel, The Inn in Grasmere was very basic and not ideal.
