Joyful weekend.

Liked: The history of the cottage and the property. It was quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast provisions. Close to Woolmers for the "Weekend at Woolmers: Schubertiade". A beautiful area.
Disliked: Not much really. More than filled our needs and expectations. Some biscuits to have with an afternoon cuppa would have been good.

Liked: Beautiful location, birdlife, wildlife and quiet
Disliked: It was extremely basic, the bath was dangerously high-sided and slippery and it was poorly maintained, uncomfortable and quite dirty

Liked: We stayed in the Coachman’s cottage, it was a lovely old building with good heating and comfortable beds. The kitchen was small but had all necessary amenities. Nice outside area with BBQ overlooking garden.
Disliked: As a gardener, I felt like trimming and tidying the gardens as they were very overgrown but overall it had a lovely cottage garden charm and some very interesting plants.

Loved it.

Liked: Authentic and historic character. Farm animals. Damper scones. Genevieve was great as was Loui.Farm eggs for breakfast were exceptional! The farm buildings were amazing!
Disliked: There were no tissues in our (Pumpkin) Cottage. Some old style lamps for mood lighting would enhance the historic experience.
