Liked: The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. The hotel had great facilities, and was in a good location. Lovely walks were available from the hotel to the beach and marshes as well.
Disliked: There was some building work in progress in the car park area, so another car parking area on the field that the hotel owns next door would have been a good idea as space to park was a bit limited.

Liked: Arrived early staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Ask if possible could have an early check in .was told that an extra payment would be taken if we checked in any earlier!!!
Disliked: Staff at reception rude and extremely unhelpful. Freezing cold had to ask several times to light fire !!!

Liked: This is a lovely hotel. Very cosy and pretty. Lovely open fires, friendly staff and fabulous dinner. Really liked the rooms too - small doubles - fresh, comfortable, great bathrooms.
Disliked: More information re checking out early as we didn't realise the hotel was locked up at night so we were wandering around in the dark before deciding to exit via our room patio doors.

Liked: Breakfast was good but service was very poor, staff not happy or welcoming.
Disliked: The welcome on arrival was terrible, there was no welcome. Young lady who was serving at bar booked us in and hadn’t really got any idea where our rooms were located.The beds were old and very uncomfortable.The cleaning in rooms and in the main hotel was poor.
