Staff was very friendly. A very unique hotel and a great use of a historic building. Chicago could learn a bit or two from you Milwaukee!

Very unique hotel you won't...

Liked: The desk person, Eddie, was warm and welcoming. A couple in our party ran into issues with their reservation (made through a 3rd party), and Eddie worked the problem through to resolution. The Brewhouse is a very unique place. Now a hotel, it was formerly the place Pabst beer was brewed. From a stained glass window from the brewing days, to huge copper kettles, winding staircases, and period furniture, it was a fun place. We had a good tasting dinner in the adjoining bar/restaurant. The morning of our departure AnnMarie the Social Sales manager, spent some time with us talking about the story of how/when the transformation took pace from brewery to hotel. She also provide some FUN FACTS and other interesting material about the hotel and its surrounding area.
Disliked: The only slight shortcoming is the continental breakfast offered for free is very sparse. As an option you can order from a menu from the hotel restaurant.

Really enjoyed the whole history...

Liked: Location was great. Close to everything.
Disliked: Parking was not to good. Spent over $100.00 on parking for two days. Just as bad as Chicago.

Unique, historic hotel in an...

Liked: We loved the historic charm of the old brewery and the elements from it that were used throughout the property. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is very good. It’s a unique touch that they offer a glass of Pabst while checking in.
Disliked: Finding parking near the hotel is a challenge. They offer valet service, but it is pricey. They advertise a complimentary breakfast, though it consisted of small danishes, apples and oranges. There was regular and decaf coffee, but no tea. I found the room to be a bit cold at night, even with the thermostat set to 72, and requested a blanket for our second night.
