Liked: The staff were nice and the room very clean
Disliked: the shower had no hot water on the morning of our leaving

Liked: Location was great, room was clean, shower was good & had an extra hour complimentary check out
Disliked: The bed was too soft room was hot

Liked: I'm disabled, I travelled 7 hours to get to the venue. In the description it says that you may hear some noise from the bar...this is far from the truth ..the floor in our room (107 ) was directly above the bar area...the floor was shaking as the noise from downstairs was so loud...even with the television on loud you could still hear the music word for word !! I couldn't get any rest (even on morphine for my illness )...it was unbearable to be in the room !I complained and was told that maybe o could move the next day as I had booked for 3 nights. the next morning I asked to move and I was told that there was no point ! and the noise would be even worse as the pub was holding a works party and the rooms are all full !the Saturday night was even worse! I complained to 3 members of staff...each passed me along to another person..I asked to be moved to another hotel as I paid for a room that we couldn't use until at 11 15 pm when the music stopped playing..we searched in the area and had to pay extra to move hotel miles away...due to my illness and being on large doese of morphine I couldn't drive and so had to stay in the pub yet again...it was unbearable!I yet again talked to a member of staff and asked for a refund as we couldn't take anymore...I was told that they would see that they could do !!well they did absolutely nothing and ignored me totally!!I was in so much pain and in tears as I couldn't listen to wrap music pumping the floor in my room anymore!the one member of staff even told us that he has stopped in that room and knew just how bad it was himself...but did nothing !I wasn't even offered a drink or anything for the inconvenience!
Disliked: This weekend that I paid for was ruined because I couldn't get any rest until after 11 15 pm in the night..then the cleaner banging around early in the morning. I asked for a refund and was told they would see what they could do then they just ignored me .

Exceptional

Great room close to where...

Liked: Lovely nuanced contemporary room in a nice area. Plenty of parking. Great value for money as a base for visiting the area.
Disliked: Accepting it’s a pub, my room was quiet noisy, above the bar,.until last orders. After that it was fine so might not suite someone who goes to bed early who doesn’t go to the bar. Didn’t bother me too much.

Poor.

Liked: Central good parking pleasant staff.
Disliked: My meal was awful and a refund offered, steak and ale pie.The room was above the bar and the noise was totally unacceptable especially as TV's and sport showing.

Great. Would definitely return

Disliked: Just a bit too noisy but in fairness the music went off by 11pm ish
