Beautiful views but rooms could’ve...

Liked: The location and the views are exceptional. We chose the suite with the private hot tub on the balcony and it was really nice and relaxing. Pub food was good and convenient as you could also order it for room service.
Disliked: It wasn’t the cleanest. Our room had webs around all the light fixtures, there was dog fur on the living room furniture and a dried mud stain near the entrance. For the price, my expectation for cleanliness was higher.

Liked: Second time here and we absolutely loved it both times! Room was super clean and comfy, view was amazing, all the food was great. Best facial I've ever had at the spa, too. Couples massage was great as well.
Disliked: Honestly nothing. I do wish the Arbutus room was open for lunch but I understand it's mostly a breakfast and dinner vibe!

We had a wonderful stay.....

Liked: The cleanliness, the view, access to a restaurant, and availability to a swimming pool and hot tub.
Disliked: There are no negatives.

Great local getaway

Liked: We had a great stay and enjoyed all that the resort had to offer. We had dinner in the pub, which was great. Then, I enjoyed the hot tub and pool late into the evening. We turned the fireplace on in our room before we left for the pool, so coming back to a nice toasty room was amazing. The big soaker tub with jets was a plus for us as my hubby works in trades and loves to soak with Epsom salts etc.

Liked: beautiful design everywhere,great comfy bed, lovely view, awesome pools, staff friendly
Disliked: 1) multiple menus (both laminated and paper) given to us in pub were covered in sticky visible fingerprints and food.2) wait staff in dining room and pub seemed to not see spills food residue on tables that needed to be cleaned up before putting next course in front of us3) seared tuna (ahi?) on the salad (pub) was overcooked a lot4) salmon (dining room) was also overcooked and dry and had jerky edges nd everything on the same plate had a tough/hard texture except the bok choy, and thank God it was there because it's juices were the only thing that almost softened the crispy potato cake by the end of the meal. When it first arrived at table, the potato cake was like a piece of drywall, and the daikon (which normally I love) was so hard and too large I could not cut it with my table knife...shave it or puree it next time. The edamame were lovely but again they a a crunchy texture, there was not enough softness , or variety in texture
