I wish I could have...
Liked: The very cool and cozy library, my spacious room with the steps up to the bed and the chairs in the sitting area.
Disliked: I arrived at night and the driveway and parking area were dark.

Liked: Beautiful inn and gardens, cozy, comfortable, and immaculate. Breakfast on the porch was delicious. We spent our anniversary relaxing in a beautiful space. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. The staff was friendly and responsive. We can't wait to go back!

Pleasant, peaceful and calming.
Liked: The property was unique, well-maintained and updated. Besides the manor house and the cottages, there were walking paths all around. The terrace outside offered beautiful views and a lovely place to have breakfast.
Disliked: #1. Our room was only accessible by a set of steep stairs, very old stairs. We had to be very careful, but we managed. #2. The main entrance to the property from the highway was not well-lit. It was difficult to see the sign at the driveway.

You'll love it here!
Liked: Beautiful grounds, lovely helpful staff, with far as the eye can see farmland and great seafood nearby. What more can you ask for?
Disliked: I booked the end of Oct for a Mon through Wed stay when most of the restaurants are closed.

Liked: We chose the Emory suite for our wedding anniversary, to enjoy additional comfort and its peaceful surroundings. The rooms were delightful and we enjoyed the convenience of the location in main building. We thoroughly loved the manor, sitting on the porch outside, listening to the rain while sampling the fine selection of teas and baked goods available to guests round the clock. The breakfast options were amazing, the charcuterie tray and Cheese boards (available for order) were delicious and satisfying, and the wine and chocolate pairing was an informative and memorable experience. We loved our mid week, anniversary getaway and we plan to return!
