Exceptional

Liked: Hostel exceeded my expectations from cleanliness to facilities. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cutlery and crockery. Fantastic shared spaces like dining room or living room. Very comfy beds.
Disliked: Parking could be a bit better - but I appreciate hostel is surrounded by trees and on a hill! :)

Good

Liked: Large and cozy lounge. Located in the woods. Very clean kitchen, too.
Disliked: Checkin at 5 pm, which is not very convenient. The room we stayed is very small, and has two small beds. Not very comfortable compared with most of the YHA we had stayed.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Iain Tue, 15 October 2024

Disappointing

Disliked: Wife found the facilities for women very poor. Few womens toilets one of which was not available if others using the room which had 3 sinks and amount of hot water available for showers in the evening was miserly. Even the hot water for the gents mid evening was inadequate for the number in the hostel resuliting in cold or tepid showers. As a family made us consider whether using the hostel for accomodation was likely in the future

Liked: Loved our attic room with sloping ceilings. Everything was so clean, cozy and quiet. I slept unbelievably well.
