A real disappointment at that...

Liked: Location, facilities.
Disliked: Bed covers were very hot synthetic duvets, which we asked to be replaced for some thing lighter, and expecting pure wool blankets in that part of the world (sheep and beef) but not available and given synthetic fleece blankets. Staff servicing the room only replaced towels, environmentally unneccesary after one use, milk and juice and breakfast muesli, they didn’t make beds, clean floors, including dead cockroach, empty rubbish or clean black mould from aluminium windows. Outside area had not been cleaned or weeded for some time.

Disliked: Hair in the plugs hole which needed cleaning. Grouting needed redoing in the bathroom and the plastic bathmat was covered in black mold.Bathroom fan sounded like a rocket engine.Air con waa not sufficient, at 18 degrees it wasn't cool enough, could hardly feel it. So we sweltered in the room.

Liked: We were able to book spa appointments.Very relaxed, quiet, natural environment.
Disliked: Coffee pot and coffee on shelf above my eyesight and reach.Bread that did not fit the toaster.Easy chairs barely comfortable.Slippery tiles on shower floor.

A relaxing staycation

Liked: Spa treatments were amazing! Nadine was so lovely and went above and beyond.

Liked: Lovely rural setting. Comfy place with lovely fire for ambience. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice.

Disliked: Very bad communication with reception. Sent email explaining had no mobile coverage or WiFi in-between accommodation. Asked for check in instructions day before or before 9am that day. So it was sent in the afternoon which caused a lot of stress wondering how we would get into our room. There was no washing machine even though it was listed in room information. Had planned to do the laundry here.Very annoying!!
