Won't stay here again

Liked: Great location, close to the beach and restaurants.
Disliked: Check in time was after 4 pm and office closed at 5 pm, one hour for check in, really? Arrived to a freezing cold room. Heat was shut off and outside temperature was around zero. Coffee maker and TV remote didn't work. They insisted that they take a photocopy of my driver's license and credit card. They said it was required of all patrons for the police records. Never ever heard this before. Know people who run motels and they say that's a lie. With all the fraudulent activities going on it made me very uncomfortable. Penticton is becoming a haven for a lot of street people. Many on drugs and alcoholics, roaming streets. Don't feel safe walking by myself anymore. Only come to visit family anymore.

Liked: We liked the convenient location with easy access to the beach. The room had everything that we needed.
Disliked: Some clean up could be done to improve the appearance of the exterior of the property.

Place is going downhill.

Liked: It used to be a nice motel in a great location for exploring penticton.
Disliked: We have been here before, and totally disappointed with the way the place is run. Old furniture is not retro, especially when it's broken. Didn't see any cleaning staff so no fresh towels to be found. For the price, I doubt we will return.
