Perfect for our one year...

Liked: Lovely hotel and gardens. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was out of this world.
Disliked: Only fault was the radiator had a fault in our room, even when I switched it off, it was still red hot, so was like a sauna trying to sleep

Nice friendly team and good...

Liked: Accessible from Durham and on a bus route if needed.
Disliked: Noisy in the corridors early morning (guest traffic to get downstairs). Water pressure reduces to a trickle when several guest rooms are using it at the same time.

Liked: Everything. We arrived late on the night, they were so helpful arranged room.service so we did t have to get ready to go for food. They really looked after us. It was the proper break we needed.
Disliked: Nothing.
