Liked: The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town and just around the corner from the Saltzburg Cathedral. Transportation from airport: can be accessed by bus with a €3 ticket, or with a taxi. Keep in mind the hotel is in one of the inner, smaller roads where vehicles are not allowed, the walk from dropoff point is very short, between 5-10 minutes depending the method of transportation chosen (taxi drop off is the closest). The room was clean, and the bathroom was fully renovated with excellent shower pressure. They also provide slippers for the room- a thoughtful touch that adds to the experience.
Disliked: The bed wasn't very comfortable. The TV was facing the couch and could not be turned to face the bed. The button to call the elevator wasn't very user friendly, which could become a bit frustrating.

Perfect location, modern property while...

Liked: This hotel is wonderful!! You can’t beat the location and the property has all the modern touches while keeping the old Salzburg charm. Owners and staff were so accommodating and friendly it really was a joy to stay. The breakfast offered in the charming dining room was the perfect way to start the day. On our next visit to Salzburg we will be staying with Boutiquehotel am Dom!!
