Liked: The location was great, they offered free parking at a nearby underground parking. The room was nice and cosy, bed was confortable. The breakfast was tasty.
Disliked: The bathroom had a glass door with a see through and anybody in the room could see you. The breakfast was tasty, but not various.

Great location in the crossroads...

Liked: Great location. Staff told us about the stagecoach coming through town to travel over the St Gotthard pass. We watched them arrive and depart. The passengers had a coffee break at the River House. Great bonus!

Enjoyed would stay again if...

Liked: The breakfast was ok it seemed a bit lacking on portion sizes. But it was enough as we felt full.The location was good. Would be ideal for skiing when in season. The town was very quiet at the time of our visit.We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size
Disliked: Nothing we did not like. The hotel met our expectations.

Liked: Good, but would have liked croissants. Nice that you could order eggs.
Disliked: My bed was not very comfortable, but the friend I was traveling with had a great bed.

Perfect place to stay

Liked: Comfortable, clean, contemporary decor whilst keeping the original charm and character of the building staff were polite and hey, the food in the bar was excellent, local produce.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: No comfortable chairs provided to relax in the room. Refrigerator would be helpful. Shower set up a bit awkward for taller people.
