Stylish small hotel perfectly located...

Liked: The location is excellent. Berlin is a bit large to walk everywhere, but to enjoy the sights of the central city, the Chateau Royal is nicely situated and near train and metro stations. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. My only concern was that, though we enjoyed our meals and drinks at the hotel, the pricing on the breakfast and dinner menus are a bit high.

Excellent base for a few...

Liked: Location so close to Brandenburg Gate and the start of the Berlin half marathon (and many other places of interest!)
Disliked: Price of the breakfast (which we decided not to have due to the high cost). There are plenty of nice places nearby to get breakfast.

Liked: How quiet it was and the location of the hotel was fantastic
Disliked: Coffee machine instead of getting freshly prepared morning coffee and you have to pay for extras at breakfast like a hot chocolate. But all in all these are only little details
