Disliked: I had been looking forward to have been able to swim but the pool closed at 5pmand didn’t re-open until 10am .I would have preferred to excercise prior to breakfast.Sadly it had closed when I checked in.Also I was not expecting to have paid for parking and the charge I considered was excessive.The receptionist on duty however was very helpful with advice on alternative parking areas in the vicinity of the hotel. Thankyou to her.

Disliked: I was kindly offered an upgrade to room 204. Whilst appreciating the gesture and the spectacular view, I was disappointed in the state of the bathroom. With mould, flaking ceiling and a plughole full of hair, I decided not to use the bath.. A lot of the furniture and fittings had seen better days as well. Checkin is from 4pm. I enquired about the pool - to find out it closed at 5pm and didn't reopen until 10am (checkout at 11am!). The jacuzzi and sauna were not operating.The parking charge is an extortionate £20 per 24 hours. Many of the guests worked out that by paying for 4 hours on the meters at the front (£2.50), they could find a more reasonable alternative.
