Liked: Quiet spot, great view. Short drive to the centre of Taupō. Would stay again.

Liked: Loved the location, beautiful view of the lake. And a great walk into town along the lake front.
Disliked: Room/ facilities are starting to look tired. Pillows on the main bed were lumpy, and the bed was on a downward slope.Overall, we had a great stay here. My children loved the thermal pool on site.

Liked: The location is excellent, with stunning lake views that made my visit truly memorable. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the actual condition of the motel felt more outdated compared to the photos. The soundproofing in the rooms was extremely poor, which significantly affected our stay. On the first night, the guests in the neighboring room and upstairs were loud, talking, singing, and laughing until 10:30PM, and it felt as if the noise was right next to us. On the second night, in addition to the same disturbances, someone was jumping repeatedly on the floor above us, causing the entire room to tremble for over half an hour. This environment made it impossible for us and our child to sleep or get proper rest, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unsettled.
