Great value for money

Liked: Great location. Comfortable bed. Very affordable. Lovely staff
Disliked: The only thing I could critique was that the windows needed a good clean, apart from that it was perfect.

Liked: we were able to get a room with 3x single beds - which is a rare find. The price was reasonable for our requirements.
Disliked: Bed / mattress were a bit old / soft. All of us have backache from sleeping on them.

Liked: Great location for an event at Eden Park, great to have parking available. Bathroom and room very clean. Mattress of smaller bed quite soft so my daughter just jumped in the king with me - which was a very comfortable bed. Check-in and check-out very straightforward and easy.
Disliked: Only thing was that there was a toaster in the room but nothing else (plates, cutlery etc), so wonder if that was only useful if you had ordered a breakfast.

Good value for money for...

Liked: We were lucky to get a room at pretty short notice (about a week in advance) as most places were sold out due to a big event in town. To be honest, I had lower expectations from other reviews and our experience was not too bad. The room and bathroom were quite spacious for 3 people. The beds were large and comfy. The Wi-Fi connectivity was fine. Free parking was a great bonus. We didn't have any problem with noise or security. And we appreciated the convenient location close to Westfield Mall and not too far from the Eden Park Arena.
Disliked: As most other reviews point out - cleanliness is a weakness of this place. The couches and carpet in our room had some old stains, We also noticed some bugs and hair around the room. Although the room was not filthy, I believe the quality of the room service could be better. It was a bit strange to arrive on time (for a 2 pm check-in) and have to wait about 20 minutes for the room to be ready. When we approached the room, the room service ladies were just leaving it. So, we could notice the cleaning done in a rush. Also, I would expect two people or a more proactive person at Reception during the peak time on a weekend (at the check-in time) as the lady we met had to leave every now and then to check if the rooms were ready which led to the queue forming at the Reception. The TV remote was broken, so we couldn't use it at all.
