Lovely relaxing weekend break

Liked: The junior suite was just amazing.

Disliked: The room was dingy and damp. Only one double socket available in the room. Bathroom needs replacing.Reception staff disinterested and on one occasion rude.

Lovely Building - Both great...

Liked: Grand building and the rooms were clean. Lovely location. Could be fantastic.
Disliked: Terrible reception staff. No willingness to help and dismissive of my complaint. However, big shout out to Emma, the duty care manager who handled my issues brilliantly and Laura who helped locate an item I had left in the room - they were both great. My fellow guests that also had issues were treat in the same poor way and a few were returning guests which is a shame.

Liked: Needed somewhere to stay at last minute and this place was the cheapest in the area. Our room was small buy very comfy beds and gave us everything we needed, including a window we could actually open to cool the room down.
Disliked: This hotel used to be known as one of best in the area but these days it is very dated and run down. It is the cheapest in the area and as such attracts a different clientele. There were definitely a few dodgy characters staying there. Our room was very small was an extremely old bathroom and plumbing. Another negative is that you have to pay for WiFi if you wanted to use it in your room.
