Liked: The bed was very comfortable! Everything was clean and tidy! The location was right next to the bus stations which was convenient for how I was travelling

Liked: The room was very comfortable and very well stocked. There was plenty of coffee and tea and even a bunch of milk. The restaurant was really excellent- both meals we had were really great. The best we found in the area
Disliked: Other reviews were right, when people stand on the road and talk, the sound travels into the rooms. I would still take a sea facing room as the view was really great. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The location of the hotel...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. There are no elevators in the hotel. Parking is very difficult in the area and the hotel did not have designated parking area. After 3 times circling the hotel, we were finally able to get a spot as someone was pulling out.
Disliked: I was not impressed with the room. I did not like that there was no parking. I do not mind that there was not an elevator (even though we were on the 3rd floor).

Love Portree.

Liked: Location! Location! Location! Downtown Portree was great. Restaurant and bar highly recommend.
Disliked: Parking…parking a nightmare around the hotel. Be sure to ask front desk where public parking located. Tickets not cheap.

Liked: A centrally located historic hotel overlooking the port. Excellent restaurant and bar on site. Full breakfast. Staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating
