Suspected Mold in Lower Level...

Liked: The hotel was generally nice as you'd expect for the type of facility & rates, etc. and we were particularly excited to see the grounds with all the green space given we were traveling with a dog.
Disliked: Upon entering the room which was on the lowest level, my sister and I noticed a bit of a musty smell which obviously wasn't ideal but we were both not in the mood to try to ask for a different room and figured we could deal with it for one night... however, we both woke up feeling really unwell which carried through the entirety of the next day and aligned with what we saw online as symptoms of mold exposure! Definitely cannot recommend staying here which is a real shame given the other benefits. I'm also seeing other reviews suggesting that travelers with dogs are only able to stay in those lower levels with musty smells which is also a bit frustrating given the fee and I wish I had seen that prior to booking.

Liked: I liked how there was a Starbucks downstairs. (Only open til 2pm though. So keep that in mind.) The place was nice. The main shared areas were nice and clean.
Disliked: Somehow we had the impression that the room was going to be bigger than it was. We also had expected the bathroom to be a bit nicer. For spending the amount we did, it wasn't bad. But I will say, we were disappointed. The bathroom wasn't clean. I had to spray the tub down. It had black hair still on the walls and stuck on the inside of the tub. I should have taken pics. But I couldn't be bothered by that point. It's hair in a tub. We've all seen it. Lol.
