Liked: This property was not a 4 star hotel.I checked into another hotel for the same time frame in Florence that was clean and had a proper mattress.
Disliked: The room was dirty.There were clothes left in the room.I did not sleep there at all.I will be looking for a full refund as I stayed at another hotel through Bookings for the exact same time frame.

Liked: The Borghese Palace Art Hotel is in a good location. All the places you could wish to visit are within a 15 to 20 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the local area, so it makes a good base for a tourist visiting the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a good choice for breakfast and the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: On arriving I was disappointed with the size and appearance of our room for the rate I paid. I guess I should have researched more. I was expecting more from a hotel making a point of being situated in a wing of the Borghese Palace. On first sight the room was smaller than I expected and the bathroom a little tired, with some peeling paint and dusty corners. However, it is a very busy city hotel, so maybe my expectations were too high.Whilst the hotel itself was quiet, the room faced the street and it was very noisy throughout the night. It was near impossible to get an uninterrupted sleep. Take ear plugs or something to listen to, to help drown out the noise - it helps!
